It is hard to be present for our moments, especially while photographing them. Photography can bring our awareness to the present by noticing what is around you, but it does take practice.

Hi, I’m Danielle Waters, the founder of Mindful Photo Studio.

I am

a photographer and teacher in Salt Lake City, Utah. After receiving a BA in Photography and a MAT-FA in Arts Teaching, I’ve found my real passion is teaching photography as a mindful practice. My goal to to spread peace, hope, and gratitude through the joy of picture-taking.
